GREEN BUILDING
Our goal of creating a community that fosters a balanced life goes deeper than the look, infrastructure, and function of the development – it goes into the very methods and materials we will be using to build the community. Icon West Developments is currently engaged in acquiring LEED® certification for the project, which will include solar design and xeriscape indigenous landscape features.
The Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Green Building Rating System, developed by the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC), provides a list of standards for environmentally sustainable construction.
