THE TRAIL
Lone Pine Village will be at the eastern end of The Dalles Riverfront Trail, a 10-mile trail envisioned as a multiple use recreation facility stretching the length of The Dalles waterfront. As part of the development of Lone Pine, we will be completing nearly the last mile of the trail as it runs through the village.
We share the vision of The City of the Dalles of providing a link between the people and the river by connecting The Columbia Gorge Discovery Center, Taylor Lake, The Port of The Dalles, Lewis and Clark Rock Fort Campsite, the historic downtown, and The Dalles Dam and Locks. The trail is designed for pedestrian and bicycle use, and has interpretive signage.
